Q: Can I apply for more than one position?
A: Yes! You may apply for writer, artist and merch artist simultaneously, but will only be accepted as either a writer or an artist. However, page artists have the option to create merch too. So, when you fill out the application and you would like to be considered as both a merch artist and a page artist, please select “Artist”! Should you only want to create merch, choose “Merch Artist”. Some page artists may double as merch artists if they wish to do so.

Q: Are ships allowed in this zine?
A: Since this is a gen zine, there will be no ships allowed, unless the pairing is canon at the time of the Pro Heroes being teenagers. Implied shipping is allowed, but the main focus of the zine should be on fun school activities, student life, and outside of class experiences, such as excursions.

Pieces depicting students on SFW dates are allowed, but they will be limited. The intention of this zine is not to portray any romantic relationships, but rather awkward teen life.

Q: What about NSFW content?
A: Given that all of the Pros are underage in this zine, there is no sexual NSFW content allowed. This includes student/teacher relationships or any sexual depiction of minors. Mild gore will be allowed should it be an important aspect to your piece. However, we’d like the zine’s overall tone to be happy.

Q: Is Oboro Shirakumo allowed?
A: YES! We had a few people ask this on our interest check, and yes, Shirakumo is indeed allowed in this zine. Go ahead and show your love for everyone’s favorite cloud boy!

Q: Are AUs allowed?
A: To an extent, yes. Fantasy AUs may be included in the way of a school play during the culture festival, or students telling fantasy stories to one another. However, we will not allow AUs in which characters die, or in which canonically deceased characters come back to life.

Q: Are headcanons allowed?
A: Yes, absolutely. We ask that you stick to canon where canon is known, but anything else is up to you. There are many things unknown about the Pro Heroes’ lives as teens and in their high school years, so headcanons and speculations are a necessity.

Q: Can we include OCs in this zine?
A: Actually, yes! Since the Pro Heroes’ classmates and teachers are generally unknown, we want to give you the chance to insert your own OCs to fill the spot! This is just a fun little thing for you to do, should you have a BNHA OC. The main focus should still be on our Pro Heroes, however. But go ahead and give your OC a little cameo!

Q: How do check-ins work?
A: Check-ins are an easy way for the mods to keep track of everyone’s progress throughout the creation period. Details of what is expected for each check-in will be detailed in the designated channels on our discord. The dates for each check-in are also provided on our schedule!

Q: What happens if I miss a deadline?
A: Missing a deadline is not a huge issue, but we ask that you do keep track of them. This makes production and zine assembly much easier for everyone. Should you feel that you will not be able to meet a deadline, please simply ask for an extension!

However, should you fail to respond to announcements and reminders regarding deadlines, failure to inform a mod of your absence, and failure to show us any progress of your work until after the 2nd check-in, will result in removal from the project. Remember, this only applies if you fail to communicate your absence. Should you inform us of your them in advance, and manage to show us progress of your work, you of course will not be removed from the project. We understand that life and health come first.

Q: Will extensions be allowed?
A: Yes, absolutely! We will announce reminders one week in advance prior to every due date. Should you feel you may need an extension, simply ask for one in the designated channels or message a mod directly. Please also ask for an extension if you are not sure whether or not you will need one. Better safe than sorry!

Q: If selected, will I be able to share previews on my social media?
A: We ask you to please hold off on sharing any WIPs on social media whatsoever. Previews and snippets of your piece will be used to promote the zine during pre-orders, so please refrain from sharing any progress online until the mods give the okay!

However, feel free to share your WIPs privately with your friends! Make sure that these WIPs stay exclusively private. You will be removed from the project should you try to purposely publish any zine work that has not been approved by the mods in the designated time frame, as this hinders pre-orders immensely.

Q: Can I sell artwork created for this zine?
A: Eventually, yes! You are only allowed to do so after at least one or two months of orders being shipped out and received by the customers. The mods will give you the okay for selling your zine work when the time comes.
